Hello everyone.
we are a small family of 3 me my wife and daughter we got a visa for 3 years in Montreal and lived there for almost 1 year and we didn't work at that time
after that year we left Canada for a another year and now we want to come back and still have a visa for 1 year but the problem is that we don't have an employer or a job and we don't want to leave Canada again after that year so my question is how can we extend that visa for more years and start our way to PR because right now we are out side of Canada what will you suggest us to do ?

**Not a legal advice** This sounds like something worth discussing with a Canadian immigration lawyer or licensed immigration consultant before you come back or make a PR plan. Whether you can extend your stay or move toward PR depends on the type of visa/status you have, whether you are eligible to work, your CRS score, job offer/LMIA options, province, language scores, and family situation. Since you are currently outside Canada and want to avoid leaving again after one year, it’s better to plan before entering. You can try Olanur platform(free to use) that can help connect you with Canadian immigration legal professionals in minutes and they can review your options.

So do you have valid open work permits or not? If you have valid TRVs, you can all come to Canada and find work.
