I am a new one coming in. I'll be eligible for a bridging open work permit when my TFWP is about to expire, so getting PR is possible. However, there's now only one chance to get it and the application has to go right the very first time. I'll just put aside some savings for a good immigration lawyer who'll do it right when the time comes.

They're going to continue processing them now. All LMOs from before the moratorium with unfilled position can now be used. I heard Kenney say it in the news conference. I watched the news conference from beginning to end.

Honestly an immigration lawyer is a waste of money, you'll find far, far better advice on the applicable board on here....

Dude, I now only have one shot at permanent residency that has to go right the exact first time. I'll do my damndest to make sure that everything goes perfectly.

Guys, I don't get something. I can't find details about which the "developed" countries are. To be exact: I was looking for an LMO (have found employer) for my mom who is from Greece, as a cook. Will she need an LMIA or not?

Edit: cancel that, just read it again and apparently they all need an LMIA apart from the already exempt categories
