Hi all,

Sad story from me..

Ten minutes after I mailed out my CEC application, I discoverd that I didn't write the names in native script in Additional Family 5406. Does anyone know how big a mistake this is, what will happen, and what should I do about it now? I tried the post office and they said nothing can be done from their side when the mail's out.

Please don't make the same mistake. Thank you for any tips.

I hate to be the one to say this but it is nearly certain that c.i.c will return your full application to you with the question highlighted.
If it is sent back to you all you have to do is fill in the answer and re-submit the application. All in all it may set you back a couple of weeks but that time may be made up later with luck.

Thank you for you answer. My I call you Gerry? I'm thinking about sending the same form with the correcdt information again to CIC right away. Do you think this is a good idea? Thank you.

:'(we got the same problem but i dont know if i do the right thing.i mailed another aplication imm 5406.i hope it wont mess up my papaers.until know i cant sleep i feel worried and depressed.......

Hi guys,

If we write "NOT APPLICABLE" in native name....will it be ok...

I m planning to submit full documents.

Secondly its difficult to write our name in native language on the form.

The Form No: is IMM 0008 and not IMM 5406.

Regards
Cool

Can you type your name in your native language in the form?
