my friends too didn't receive AOR2 yet
but two of them who got email transfer on aug 29 have started BGC just today

I don't think so. I heard nothing for 3 months after my application was transferred (effectively AOR2). Applications clearly sit and wait for quite some time without anyone looking at them because there is a backlog, even at Mississauga.
