The photos we sent in are only 4 months old at this point, maybe thats why I don't understand sending them in again when we were required to send them with the application.

I had the same request for the photos with PPR. When I took my photos, the studio gave me 2 sets of 2 photos, which I thought was weird at the time. But I was able to send the other set for the second request because they were still less than 6 months old. These photos are going somewhere else other than where your application was sent (mine was processed in Mississauga, PPR came from Ottawa). I think they use a digital print for your PR card, but they staple one of the photos to your COPR, so that is why they need it physically in their office with the passport. I would definitely send them so your processing is not delayed.

Hi, I recently received PPR and the standard form it sends you mentions sending passport size photos as well. If I sent those in with my application (May 22nd), do I still have to send it photos again? I've heard yes and no and when I looked online under the application processing guidelines, it does say that they will use the photos you send in for your PR card, but wanted to see if anyone has had issues with this?

We were wondering the same thing but then just did them again to be safe and not cause delay.

We are still waiting for my partner to be approve for sponsor,

They received our app jan 15th

My partner has had many of conversation with then as we keep being sent the same request even tho they have received and they have confirmed they have got it , they keep saying there noting delaying it and that it should clear through any day now but that was 2 weeks ago we were told back in June they were working 2-3 months behind but we would have a answer end of July well that never happened, I’m loosing all hope there not telling us anything

Is anyone from jan still waiting ?

we sent our app on December 2017 and still waiting. i am the sponsor and been approved. but that's it. even background check is not started.
not sure what to do.

Got the AOR1 today, September 11, 2018; but received it from Sydney, NS. A great relief of course. Application received was June 25th at Mississauga.

Does anyone know that when shall I expect the RPRF payment request? Is it a necessary step before PPR? My application was sent on May 24, and medical passed on July 3, and AOR2 for Mississauga on July 6, while since then there are no updates for 2 months.

Is it possible for me to pay RPRF by myself? And will it accelerate the process a little bit?

My situation is the PR sponsor for dependent child which is only less then 2 years old so there will be no background check. Does it mean that they have not started processing my application, as I still have not received the RPRF payment request yet.

My application was transferred from Sydney to Mississauga two weeks ago and I still haven’t heard anything while some people whose applications were transferred to Mississauga a week ago already received AOR 2 on ecas... I’m just getting anxious and nervous here, not sure what will happen with mine

My sponsor received a transfer letter but I never received AOR2. Ecas didn't update, just had 1. We received your app, 2. Further correspondence (AOR1) and 3. Medical results received.

Yes I was. Things can be slow - did your medical company/panel physician confirm they've sent the results in? Does it say anything about them on MyCIC?

My GCKey account says “we requested a medical examination” and I tried calling the doctors office but his assistant is not in today, so I’m not sure if I can call the hospital (here in Canada) to ask whether they sent the results to my doctor

I'd confirm the results have definitely been sent to IRCC before worrying. The panel physician submits the results directly to IRCC through an online system in my understanding. They may need to wait for tests to be returned before they can submit it.
