Test Invite (Mississauga Location) - Feb 11, 2019
Test Date - Feb 23, 2019
DM - Feb 24, 2019
Oath Letter - Mar 1, 2019
Oath Date - Mar 19, 2019 (Mississauga Location.)

they are on fire right now because I have check the spread sheet and from what the officer told me and she did not lie. I know people pass their test and wait for like a month or 2 before being called for oath. mine DM in 3 days and invited for oath 3 days after Dm. I don't think they are backlogged again from what the officer said because I asked her a lot of question and she kept laughing of her feet. and she told me I should expect to be booked within a week or 2 but no gurantees. I was booked the second week and now they are booking in the 3 rd week .

there might be something they just want to verify because I have a friend who is waiting since dec 2017 and he said he did nothing wrong and he has a good history. last week he told me how about if was once arrested or something misdemeanor but still that is not a big deal as at the end of the day you will still be called just wait in there. it took my wife 5 months and it took me 12 month. reason I don't know but I am sure my frequent trips out of the country might be an issue during my PR . I make close to 60 trips 1yr . some work related and some other stuff. I guess they want to verify all that before I got call . I did not get any finger print request but let me tell you I sent an FBI clearance incase they may question all that trip.There are people who spend more than 5-6 months outside the country and they expect to submit their finger print and police clearance but some did and some did not . even if you have no record they just want to be sure. and then sometime someone is not just lucky and the officer handling your file may be lazy and on vacation. if you have worked in government office you will know how lazy people can be. On my test day the administrator is new on her job and they told us to please bear with her and this is in mississuagua. you just never know. so please hang in there. your time will come

Well, I spent less than 90 days outside Canada during my 5-year eligibility time, only about 20 trips for those .... doesn’t matter , got FP request after 17 months

I don't think you should be concerned and I think the email is genuine. For awfully slow Mississauga any appointment - 1AM, Weekend, Public Holiday is welcome. Maybe they are just trying BELATEDLY to clear up their ever-growing backlog. They have scheduled interviews and tests on weekend in the past.

In any case, you have nothing to lose by showing up on that Sunday. Unless you work on Sundays and need time off work. I'd say congrats, you are getting there.

I checked my status online- there is a disclaimer note stating appointments are sometimes scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays..

As I see from this group, it takes minimum one year from the date of receipt of application for Mississauga applicants to receive Test Invite ? Is that true?
