Missing documents or Signature

My husband just recieved an email from his visa office asking for him to come to the office to sign or fill out missing documents or signature. they also asked for any additional supporting documents and to also bring his passport.
We are so nervous and dont know what to think. anybody ever had this and did they issue visa or have interview that same day

You can consider yourself very lucky.Usually they send the whole app back if it is missing signatures .So bring the documents they want ASAP.sign what they want you to sign and if they are asking him to bring in his passport it is likely that once you do as they ask they are going to put his visa in it right there,or they cant make out the one you sent but this is good news get to the visa office as soon as you can and bring everything they asked for,

They actually gave us a date and time to come to the office for this. So we are going to prepare before he goes in. God is in Control.

Yes cause usually the only reason they are asking him to bring his passport is to give him the visa and they need to attach it to his passport.And the signature he just likely missed it and they figure to get you in and sign it.The other papers are just further support of the app.So congrats.

I hope that this is good news for you, but you can never be sure. Wasn't your police clearance from UK quite out of date? Perhaps that is the issue. Maybe they are asking for the passport for ID purposes? I hate to be devil's advocate here, but 1 month would be INSANELY fast processing for Accra, which makes me think he's not getting the visa right now.

Then again, maybe it is great news, and if so, I will be so happy to hear it! It looks like things are moving more quickly in Accra now. Please keep us updated!

What date were you given to go to the Accra office to present documents and passport? I am trying to watch all of the Accra files, and eagerly awaiting an update on yours.

I wouldn't get the expectations for a visa up just quite yet... it appears that, according to CIC timelines, you are still pretty early in the process... the passport will probably be used to verify identication and signature... but i'd say still it's not a bad thing, they could have refused the app and send it back, so they are working with you

My husbands apponitment is on the 23rd of june. we are not getting our hopes too high because we know for Accra this is wayyyy too soon. but we are very encouraged because at least someone has viewed the application. we are praying and just hoping that even after the appointment things will move fast. Will keep you informed

I don't think it matters why they want the passport, the exciting thing is that Accra is dealing with your application already! Fantastic news, and gives the rest of us hope!
