Congrats! I'm brazilian too. I'm November aplicant, my process went to Mexico today., No BGC, no PPR yet. Please, can you tell me how long your passport will be back to you?
That seems to be the norm. It was 7 months before we got AOR2. (Acknowledgement of receipt from Mexico City). Then we waited four and a half months for the passport request. So, be prepared to wait. She dropped off her passport at the Brasilia visa office today. It should come back from Sao Paulo with the visa within two weeks.

I'm on IMMTracker but most people on there don't regularly update. Not much there for Mexico City. We've just received our PPR from Mexico City. There is a huge disconnect between the updates that appear on the GCKey and what is actually happening . We had the key change to BGC in Progress this last Monday , received the Pré-Arrival letter on Tuesday and the PPR on Thursday. The key still says that eligibility and DM are in Progress. Have'nt been updated. We were 16 days short of the 12 months. Is there any way they could have done the BGC in three days? Very unlikely.
Congratulations! You received everything via email or by mail?

All updates and requests come by E-mail. Do you have a GCKey?
Is it normal for applications to Mexico to take longer? Many people with similar timelines to mine have got an approval already. I just called and they said my file hasn't even been transferred to Mexico yet. But other January applicants have already received approvals.

My timeline :

Are you talking about sponsor approvals? Six months is not outrageous to receive your AOR2. Are you saying that January applicants through Mexico City have already gotten their PPRs? That would be some kind of divine miracle.

No. My sponsor approval was fairly quick.
Here is my timeline :

January 8, 2019 application delivered

February 27, 2019 application accepted email

March 26, 2019 requested biometrics

March 27, 2019 sponsor approved

March 27, 2019 requested medical exams

March 29, 2019 submitted medical exams and biometrics

March 31, 2019 passed medical exam

The problem is that my file has not even been transferred from Sydney to Mexico yet. People with the same timeline had their applications transferred by April and have approvals as of June/July. I do not know where from. I'm going based on this site's spreadsheet for January 2019 outland application.

It has been 6 months and I have not received my AOR2 and it has been 4 months since I have received and updates. Last update was medical exam approval March 31
