I know you have obviously spoken to your MP but have you asked your MP to ask for help from Jenny Kwan as she is the one fighting right now for all of you? I believe if it wasn't for her help I would still be waiting. I don't know if it will help you or not but for anyone still waiting from 2018....it doesn't hurt to try to reach out to Jenny Kwan and mention these new applications are getting processed before yours. I think as the immigration critic she can give you more help or at least better answers if she is willing to help you. She was able to give me faster and better answers. And since she interfered my interview was waived and application was approved within two months.
do you have her email and I will try reaching out

This system simply don’t work ... As it is possible that we have so many people from 2018 and give priority to applications from 2020. Please this is inhumane, we also have the right to reunite with our families.

I know this isn’t the fault of the applicants, but it also bothers me to have so long waiting without an answer, this is my second Christmas without my husband.
It’s so sad how this has all went

exactly. So I would honestly hope that you are the next to be approved, or anyone in and around your timelines (which they have been!! the last few DMs from Mexico were for people whose applications were transferred in October 2019).

What is scary is seeing that people whose applications were scanned are now being reviewed and approved well ahead of those of us who have been waiting for a year because our applications are on paper.
Nov 2018 applicant, our paper file was transferred June 2019... No DM since Aug 2019. My husbands eligibility and background are still in process, according to the GCKey

And did you get any tracking number after you sent it? I read somewhere that within a couple of days of recieved they send an email. I haven't gotten it but its okay, just sent the passport on Thursday. Just wanted to make sure I sent it to the right address, I've seen and also sent documents myself to the Miguel de Saavedra address but on the visa site it said another address and I wasn't sure. I'm so confused on what happens next. Anyways, thank you very much, 2 weeks sounds alright
on the return yes..

Advice to all that haven't gotten this process over after the 1 year the only way for making your case appearing at the priority list is to have support from your politicial representative... if not you gonna hang there for really long.

It worth involving your MP representative at your case so he ask and make things "move" there in Mexico . Give him a call (or an email and timeline of your app) and show that you are concerned about how your application is done.

Calling to IRCC center is NOT an option , is a total waste of time. The time your app is outside Canada they have no idea what's going on on it most likely.

The only ones that talk directly to Mexico is the political line.

The mp was useless. Did nothing for me just repeated what Mexico said.

All the times i made him intereact in the case, "suddenly" my file moved... idk but..

Coincidence maybe but .. 3 times ? na i won't believe. one time would be... but asked him 3 times to look at and all those 3 .. a few days after something had changed
