Officially at the 1 year mark today!

No news since my husband's medical was approved at the beginning of December. Still no news on whether he needs an interview or not. What are the chances they'd send the interview request AFTER the year mark? How long should I wait to contact the Mexico VO for an update?

The status changed this morning on the VFS site, it now says it’s been dispatched to the Visa Application Centre in Mexico City. Hopefully this is promising.

I got transferred to Mexico on October and we email them 1 month later to know if they receive our app because we didn't have any updates on ECAS or GCkey ...we got answer that yes they have our app on 16 days later and since then nothing else and that was December...I passed my medical exams on September...I am the applicant and I am Cuban...my husband from Ontario.just wait one more month and later ask..email ..call ..just wait a little bit more..I know is to much ask but is my personal advice...I am in my month 10 from our app

Wife called Quito VAC to ask why her passport was sent to Bogota. They told her its completely normal that they send passport to the nearest VO that can process it. In this case, Bogota. Relieved that this wasn't a mistake. Mitch, looks like yours will join ours.

My file was sent to MExico on Dec23rd. No medical request yet! Anybody else in the same boat?

Time line:

File Received: 15th November
AOR: December 5
Biometrics: December 12

Don't hold your breath for a quick response from them these days. The message you get after an email is they will respond in 28 days!!! 28 days ...that's a whole month! Geez does the MVO need help!

took them like 2 weeks the only one i've tried to reach Mexico

November 19th.... December 4th..

Welcome to the boat, my application this Friday is 13 months old and I don't know anything about it, no interview or additional documents. Just waiting...

Starting to plan a trip to her country for her Spring vacation... as i don't really think this process with be done by start of April (wished but with Quebec....) , since i got a Opened ticket by the Airline company for the missed flight in December 2019.

Had hopes it was to be over... but preparing mysellf that it won't.
