We included 7 letters of support , all my boarding passes , you name it we added it . Still wasn’t good enough . My husband has never left his country and that could be a reason ? I’m not worried about the reason why to be honest , I just want the date so that our life on hold can move forward[/QUOTE
I think thats the worst part about being in this process is that literally life is on hold.

Can't really plan to far ahead because we don't know the outcomes just yet.
yes !!!! I wanted to be together for Christmas , but I am hesitant to book anything because our life is up in the air lol.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and let’s all pray that next week brings some good news !

Hey and welcome!!!! get comfortable because yes Mexico can be a wait . What kind of information are you after? I can tell you that in my case. My husbands app was received on Sept 12,2018, AOR1 was December 17, SA and Medical came January 9th and medical completed Jan 16th 2019, Transfer to mexico March 20,2019, request for another schedule A in April 2,2019.......... Silence until Sept 25th, when we were advised that we are in queue for interview, with no date scheduled yet.
Now keep in mind all applications are different and you need a lot of patience and a great sense of humor.
Hope that helps answer your question a little at least :)
That's not good, was your application transferred from Nova Scotia?. I passed BM and Meds since July 2019. Well I do understand everyone's application is different I was trying to find out if there are delays with this CPC vs applications that are sent to Missisaugua*..

I’m a Dec 2018 applicant, my file was transferred in August and finally opened in Mexico in October and we are still waiting. So yes it will still be a wait for you, but each step is closer to bringing your spouse here
Was your file transferred from Nova Scotia.i agree one step closer. I am reading reviews to see if anyone got through within a few weeks of file transfer as well.

I have not seen anyone go through within a few weeks at the Mexico VO. The trend they seem to have is receiving the application and you won't seen pre-arrival and PPR until just about 12 months if your lucky.

But again every case is different. As for CPC-Missisaugua I would say it's kind of rare for anyone from central/south america or Caribbean to be transferred there. The designated VO for most of these countries is Mexico, and yes the are a lot slower then CPC-M :(

We passed Med and Bio in May and still waiting for further communication. Starting to look like 14-16months at v is pretty average. Very frustrating but we all just have to try and stay positive.

Welcome to Mexico VO, Im Dec 2018 applicant, my application was transferred in August and I received AOR2 from Mexico in September. The best advice I can give you is patience, this office is very slow and each application in a different case, do not compare yours with that of others.
I know each case is different for sure. Thank you for replying as well. Was your application transferred from Nova Scotia? That's a really long period you have waited as well.

Mississauga office is fast , but from what I am aware they process inland and Outland where the principal applicant is from a country that does not require a visa to enter Canada . I hope things start to speed up for you

My theory is that you get moved to Mississauga even if you are from a non-visa exempt country if your relationship is unquestionably genuine, like if you have been married for more than 10 years or if you were married to your sponsor before they got their permanent residency. Because I have seen in rare occasions people from countries who would usually go to Mexico, going to Mississauga instead and get their Pr extremely fast. Like, in my case, I got moved there initially. And I think it was because they were not sure about my case, because I got a dependent visa to live with my husband in the US, so maybe they thought that would make the relationship unquestionably genuine. Then Mississauga was like “hm this is a I’m not sure kind of case as they have been married for less than a year so it goes to Mexico.” That’s my theory at least

It's a good theory but I am not sure it is correct: Our application was submitted to Sydney. It went to Mississauga for several months - and we thought it might stay there. Then it bypassed Havana altogether and went to Mexico, and now it is headed to POS.
