I have a question, i sent my application just a few weeks before my pcc expire for the country of residency am MARCH APPLICANT 2018, i planning to go back to my country of birth and i wanted to know the posibility of mexico vo asking for a new pcc down the line, it will be hard for me to get new pcc and the other country specifications when am not here, i highly appreciate any advice on this issue. Thank you in advance.
It looks like if your PCC is more than 6 months old, they will request a new one, so you might want to be prepared for that possibility.

Thanks, and if anyone knows about patience, it's you!! That is so exciting that your guy is coming soon!! Enjoy, you guys deserve a wonderful, uneventful summer lol!
:)
PS. One question: I'm now at 2 months of waiting for our GCMS notes, even despite then putting us as "priority" over two weeks ago. Did you experience this?
Thanks! Looking forward to having him here finally!
We never had to wait for GCMS notes past 37 days. I am not sure what else you can do other than waiting if they have already marked you as being "priority". Sorry, I wish I could be of more help. I hope you will get your notes soon ... 2 months is a ridiculously long time, especially since they probably generated them right after you ordered them! Suerte!

Congrats! We landed last night
Hope your husband is settling into family life now! I wonder if I can ask you a question about the landing process at Pearson Airport in Toronto? My partner is landing on Friday night this week. When he goes through customs, does he have to go through those kiosks before talking to the agent and telling them he is landing? When I came back from Buenos Aires in March, I had to enter the declaration card info on those kiosks first. Any advice on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Funnily, I got a phonecall from Mexico VO today to confirm some minor information, and I pounced on the Chance to speak to a real live human. She was lovely, and I believe it was the main officer on our file. When I asked her how far along we are she told me that she has no concerns about our relationship and that she will be signing off on that and the medical results and then it will move on to security and criminality- which she said shouldn't take too long as she also didn't see anything concerning on our file. I told her that she made my week with her phone call and that it was so reassuring to know there are nice humans like her working on our applications, which made her laugh. But it is true, that one phone call has renewed our hope that our application will be finished at some point and my guy can finally start life with me here. Of course, we are cautiously optimistic and won't believe anything unyil he has the PR in his passport lol. Now we go back to being (im)patient. :)

That is so awesome they actually called you ... I think that is a really positive sign and you must be on a high hearing the news from someone working on your file! I understand you being cautiously optimistic. I didn't believe it was ever going to happen until I actually saw the coPR in person. Hopefully your partner gets that pre-arrival services letter soon!

Hey!! We are doing great! Yes when he arrives on the kiosk there is an option for immigrate. He selects that and goes to the agent and says hes doing his landing. They will direct him to the office behind so before he goes to get his bags. If its before 7 pm he can get his sin right there too. Very happy for you both. Enjoy the bext chapter!!!

It was just about to be 6months when I sent it, and I think it would be wise to get a new one. Thanks

We had an interview also in March after 14 months of waiting. If you scroll down on this page in the above link, you can read our story. Know what your red flags are, and prepare to answer questions about those things. You may want to order GCMS notes to find out what their concerns are about your relationship, if you still have time. I hope you get a positive outcome from the interview. Best of luck to you and your husband!

We truly can’t believe it ! It seems like some sort of dream still, we were expecting not to hear anything until at least August maybe even later.
We received official AOR2 on the 26 then ppr on May 1st.
I hope this is a sign that Mexico is catching up on its backlog
Happy for you!
