Congrats to everyone! We have been so busy with the holidays and papers etc since my husband arrived. But it's been so amazing having him here.

hello members of the foro. I have a question and i hope that you can help me.
My husband has an interview in 2 weeks and our lawyer advised us to have and interpreter with us, my husband speaks english but the lawyer said it was better to have somebody there so we can be better at interview. however i have since lots of interviews that are in Spanish because the agent speaks spanish. Do they provide for the interpreter or do we have to get one. I am confuse and it is becoming nerve wrecking...

I had a phone interview today. I'm just so nervous because I really want to be with my husband. I miss him so much.

My question is how long will it take for them to contact me? Also do y'all think I'll get approved?

I agree Nessa. That is what happened to me too! I know the waiting is so hard for all of us but, at the risk of sounding cliche, it will be worth it in the end. Once we receive that letter asking for the passport, all of the waiting in the past won't matter any more. I keep envisioning how I will feel once I get that letter. It always puts a big smile on my face and butterfiles in my stomach. And then I imagine how I will feel when I pick my hubby up at the airport once he comes to Canada (more butterflies ;D). At this point, these anticipated feelings are all that I have to keep me going. It will happen sooner or later for us all. We just need to keep hope alive!

Reading this made me feel encouraged I feel like I have been waiting forever and I am literally like anxious all the time but i know now that someone out there is going through the same things as me

They sent me an email with a document saying I'm eligible for pre-arrival services. Does that mean I was approved? I had my interview 2 days ago and they said they'd let me know if I was within a month or 6 weeks. I'm so confused

Yesterday cic accountupdated to " application has been approved", letter sent saying visa has been stamped on passport !! yey, we sent passport last friday jan 5th, any idea when we should be getting passport back?

Hello everyone! So we got our COPR on December 23 and my husband called CIC December 27 when it was open again (he was here visiting) and we got an appointment at the immigration office in Vancouver this past Monday. The appointment went very easily and he is now a PR! Woohoo! I wish everyone luck and hopefully everyone's application and is approved as quickly as ours. I enjoyed reading all of your comments and it helped while we were going through this stressful process!

hey did they send you a letter after they recieved ur passport? They recieves my passport dec.11 but still nothing

Hi guys!
Congratulations to those receiving their DM/COPR and to those that have landed in the first couple of weeks of 2018. My husband landed on the 10th! I could not be happier this process was finally over.
He landed in Toronto and the whole process was quite straight forward according to him. He did not declare anything and had 3-50 pound luggages + his carry-on. The only thing was the weather. Poor guy, from an absolute hot temperature ended up landing in -38 weather. But it is all good. Anyways, I just thought I'd give you all an update.

One quick question to finish this post: Should I contact CBSA to give them the "to follow" list he had with him? Thx in advance.
