Hi, wonder if anyone can help me with this. How do I pay my right of permanent residence fee here in Venezuela, if I don't have a credit card? Immigration sent me an email asking for a whole lot including this fee. They asked for
An updated Background A form
My CAQ(Quebec) which I have yet to receive
Updated medical exams since mine expired
Police certificates for Venezuela
And the right of permanent residence fee
Which is out main issue. How to pay it here without a credit card And all must be sent within 60 days

Do you mean PPR? And you did not have to redo medical again though it had expired?

Yes PPR without remedicals but still waiting for my passport to come back, I sent it in December 23 and hasn't come back.

Did anyone ask for confirmation that their passport actually got there? I'm asking because on my ups tracking sheet it says delivered at Miguel hidalgo so I thought it was delivered at the address of the Canadian embassy since it says that on they're address, I event sent them an email(the embassy) .... It wasn't until I actually called ups and found our that it was at the same address that I had sent it too... I had to then re send a email to the embassy telling them about my mistake :o

Forgot to mention, we found out why it took so long for us t recieve it. They send you back all personal info that you sent them, that is mainly pictures.... did you send a lot? If so they take their time putting them together.

Guys I need help! I got confirmation that my husbands passport was delivered to the visa office on the 18th how ever the postal code is 11200 instead of 11520...ups tells me that's the postal code they have for the visa office.... Can anybody tell me if that happened to them too?

There are several visa offices depending on what you need, for example there is an office on 11200 for international car registry.

The correct postal code is 11520.

So you wrote down the full Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 11520 and UPS delivered to 11200? If so that is not good news.

Yes I wrote down 11520 but they took it to 11200...the thing is that it says embassy of Canada... And it is the exact same address 193 cervantes Saavedra etc.... Is that possible?

No, it is not possible.

But you are not telling the full story... where did this 11200 came from? who said that? how did you got a hold of that info? where did they got that address? UPS does not have a directory of addresses, it is like regular mail, they sort them out from the postal code and deliver them by areas... so "overwriting" a delivery address is even against their policies. What really happened? (step by step, full details, e.g. "ups said" is not good "the manager of the local mexican ups office said" that is useful).

I asked ups to send me the address that my package was sent to and by email they sent me the full address that it was sent too except that the postal code was 11200, so yes I guess they did over write it. I called Uruguay ups and they told me that they go by the address and sometimes the postal code changes, that they confirm with the actually place that they leave it if it's for them, if not they give it back. When I was on the phone with ups in the states they even asked me if it was for immigration section and I said yes. However I'm not sure why the postal code changed

It seems it is a human error. These errors happen, as the delivery guys may have to type it in for many reasons. The two neighborhoods are next to each other so it is quite possible that the same guy delivered it to the area through the day. Those addresses are not meant for client inspection, they are for informational purposes, so they don't really care to type it in 100% accurately....

This is the very first time I hear of anyone asking for the confirmation of a delivery address from the guys who did it. I have seen in the past those addresses due to some delivery issues I had with Fedex and UPS, and errors like that are common (missing house numbers, misspelled streets, names, no confirmation at all).

This is over thinking stuff. If you sent the package to the correct address (which was printed in your invoice) then you only need to see it was delivered following the tracking number. That's it. If you go further than this then you should not expect the info to match 100%.

I wouldn't worry.
