IMO it is not very wise to give more work to an already busy office just for fun.
I've noticed your comments are quite negative. Do you work for CIC? I'm wondering because I always read things from you like don't give them more work to do. I don't think the same people reviewing apps are the same ones releasing notes.
I don't know if you are the sponsor or the person being sponsored, but I can tell you from my experience, it's a very frustrating and unknown process. You just wait... That feeling makes me think that my future depends on some officers work! Crazy...
Anyway, we as the sponsored person, we have the right to know about our app.
So please people order your notes! I'm getting mine now.
Everyone that comes to this forum can learn from our experiences and mistakes!
Please people make positive comments and let's be supportive. In my case I'm pretty much on my own so finding this group has been very useful to me. I feel like there are people that really understand what I'm going through.
Good luck!!

They are not. There are different departments. That doesn't mean they are not busy as hundreds of GCMS notes are ordered on a daily basis.

Nobody said you didn't had the right.

There are people that do need to know what is going on with their application, people that actually need guidance and some info about their application in order to take corrective action. If you order the GCMS notes "for fun" or "to know" then you are increasing the queue and you are making their wait even longer.

Please think of others before giving CIC more work just because "you have the right to know".

Hey guys hope all is well with everyone. I have a question that's been on my mind for a while now. Since Mexico VO processes applications from 16-18 countries, do they process by county like does every country has there own section or department or do they process them all together..? Thanks in advance for the help

:'( IMO It is highly doubtful that ordering GMCS notes has ANY effect on the processing of my/our or any other application. The data is pulled from the electronic systems used to log the information from your application. Just a guess, but probably a person or persons dedicated to just producing GMCS notes.

It is my right to have access to this information, the Canadian Government guarantees me that right.

Apart from that, information from those notes can help new applicants prepare even better, more complete applications resulting in less delays due to incomplete information, and a more efficient workflow in the visa office. (Assuming it gets shared here for the benefit of others)

It is all I ever try really try to do - help people with information to have them prepare excellent applications which get processed as quickly as possible.

After the anxiety that a couple goes through during this process it IS actually a bit fun to review the scrutinies you application undergoes and the reality of how the VO perceives your application.

Hi CANzinillo,
You know the 4 stages that you are talking about (eligibility, medical, criminality and security)....What are they looking for when it comes to the security Stage?
I assume the Eligibility stage is about the Canadian being ELIGIBLE to sponsor...or not?
The MEDICAL is that it was completed and submitted and they are healthy?
CRIMINALITY is if they have been convicted before or charged?
and SECURITY???? What would that be? Would you know?

I am a Mid-April Applicant and I know they requested more details about my husbands Address and Work history from age 18 to the date we last gave them. Instead of going back 10 years they seem to have wanted all the way to 18. Which was fine, it was emailed to them beginning of December (same day asked) and they notified me of receiving the document back in December. We are in the "In Process" stage since November 10, 2015. I pray it won't be much longer.
The Eligibility I mentioned refers to the PA's eligibility as a candidate to be sponsored. Proof of genuine and continuing relationship, proper documentation, etc
yes, Medical completed, submitted, received and sufficiently healthy.
Yes on criminality.
Security would generally refer to RCMP checks and any other security agency that the CIC deems necessary to screen and hopefully pass the individual. (Interpol, CIA, FBI, etc)

This forum thread can help to provide some insights about the various categories. Recommend you read it. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/old-in-process-vs-new-in-process-on-ecas-explained-t363793.0.html

Speedy Processing!

Just my opinion but I believe they process them all together. More by application date than anything else. Having said that I have no idea as to the inner workings and organization of the Visa office.

It is interesting to consider. I had never really thought about that before, probably because we were Mexico applicants. ???
