You can now get the PGR certificate in any state office of the PGR. When you go there they will fingerprint you in the office and it will take approximately 10 business days to get the actual certificate. Cic will send you an e-mail/letter to take to the PGR. You will need 2 passport photos from the front and 2 from the right profile. You also need a "comprobante de domicilio and your ife or passport. You also need to print the voucher to take to the bank to make your payment BEFORE you go to the PGR office.

So my husband called the 1-800 # for the PGR and they said he need to go to the state headquarters in Tepic - can anyone else confirm if this is correct information? Are the agencia offices listed not able to do the federal checks? I know my husband is too quick to take information at face value in Mexico, when often times it can be incorrect.

I received the passport request today!!!!

Congrats agarand8! I have update the spreadsheet accordingly.

Was able to access ECAS today (didn't try yesterday) after having received AOR on Friday. Though it doesn't show an application status like "In Process", only my (our) current address. Hopefully will receive SA within the next few days!

For sure it should happen ASAP! Good day all-round I'd say guys! They're hard at work at the Mexico VO

Try logging in as the sponsor versus the applicant - that may have more info

so I am looking at these interview questions on the mexico spreadsheet... where did these actually come from?
Are these questions for real?
"236.When was your wife's last menstrual period?"
"235.What kind of birth control do you use? What brand do you use?"
"244.What is your favorite position (missionary, doggy, cow girl etc)?"
seriously?

I copied them from the January outland spreadsheet. Their origin is unknown to me. I did not review them. I cannot vouch for their validity.

The "ONLY" scenario that I can imagine, and it is a stretch, is that the couple is being interviewed and they are asking one or the other these types of questions to test how well they know each other... proof of genuine relationship!!?? As I said, a stretch! 244 seems particularly inappropriate and perhaps illegal to be asking!

I find all of them to be highly offensive and I can't imagine them being legitimate questions...surely none are legal, plus... how many guys really know when their wife's last cycle was ;)

Congratulations!!!! It's about time too - weren't they supposed to contact you about approval 2 weeks from the interview?

No kidding... there was also one asking whether the couple went to any events together, especially weddings if they were married in marriage season... Huh?? We didn't go to any weddings because no one we knew got married after we did, but we did go to two funerals. A lot of these questions seem to apply particularly to people applying from India.

Also, what's up with asking about number of appliances, colour of the walls, furniture, etc of a residence a couple shares? There was even a question about how many TV remotes there are.

Alright - as much as I love Mexico... sometimes it gets on my nerves.
Which PGR office to go to?
Husband Calls Local Agencia Office: You MAY have to go to Tepic
Husband Calls 1-800 # for PGr: You have to go to Tepic
Husband Calls Tepic Office: You can go the the Puerto Vallarta Office
Me:But the website SAYS, you must apply in the state in which you live?
Husband: Yes you are right
Me: So call them back, ask for a manager, ask for someone who knows what the heck is going on...

To be continued....

For those of you that have gone through this, how are the results delivered to you? Do you have to pick them up or are they mailed? Couriered?
