Does eCAS say anything?

I'm not sure if the same is true for the Mexico City VO, but in CPC-Miss you can call after 3 months if you not received any communication. Have you tried contacting the VO?

I know people who have not even received AOR but I would call or submit a case specific form for Mexico because I know how much it sucks not knowing. If it was opened around Christmas they might have just forgotten to e-mail you or something. People say no goods is good news but I would still try contacting Mexico VO.

On a side note, my husband wasn't able to access ECAS through our application number two weeks before the AOR and on the day we got AOR I checked it again after those 2 weeks, just to see, and I was finally able to see it with his info for the first time. I don't know if they are related or if I just wrote it wrong the last 2 months but try seeing if you can access it with his information.

ElleElle I used this company for ALL my translated documents (birth certificates, marriage certificate, pgr, etc) http://www.elan.com.mx
They are very professional, PGR translation cost me $250 pesos, and was ready in 36 hours.
It was certified by perito authorized by the Tribunal Superior.
I totally recommend them, located around WTC in MexCity, very centric.

Fabi, I would love that contact info, please!

CANzanillo, great work on the spreadsheet. I'll update my section as I go along...

Also, an FYI... I contacted the Immigration Section to see if my mom-in-law could drop off the PGR certificate. They said they don't permit walkins and will only accept couriered documents.

I was delayed in SA because whoever opened our app said it required signatures on the back of photos which is not required for Mexico. They admit their mistake and after getting my MP involved they agreed to replace my file as it should have been without the delay they caused. Obviously that didn't happen though, since we are so far behind. So I have reached out to my MP's office again, but it really aggravating.

Based on timelines I've seen AOR2 is being received approx 2 months after file transfer to the Mexico City VO. You are right at 2 months now. I'd be patient for one more month, then if nothing do whatever you need to do to contact the VO. Just my opinion...

Wishing everyone fast processing!

Spreadsheet Update;

I have added a new column; Total Days file transfer to Stage 2 AOR

If you know your file transfer date and have received Stage 2 AOR from the VO then please update your information in the spreadsheet.

This will give us all a better idea of how long this stage is taking. Perhaps reduce some stress during the long wait times....

tricia-chile I used your SA approval date as the file transfer date. Though not 100% accurate it should be close as it seems most files are transferred out within a few days of SA. Please update this data if you know the correct transfer date.

Positive thoughts for everyone

Spreadsheet Update:

I have added the following applicants to the spreadsheet and filled in data I found available:

CanadianInChile
Amhel26
CanadaHonduras1234

We would all appreciate if you could keep your application data up to date so we can all compare processing times...

Thanks!

Thanks Canzanillo for the spreadsheet!!and for adding my information, I really appreciate it. Now we will be able to know more accurate times.
I still dont understand if the AOR from Mexico is sent by email or by normal mail. Im in Canada so just wondering if it normally takes longer to get it or how it works.
Thanks again!!!

You're welcome! :D Glad to help!

If you provided an email address on the PR application forms then that is how the VO should communicate with you. I fully expect that for myself!

BTW, I didn't know the date you sent your application to CPC Miss so I just put the date they received it in your timeline. Feel free to put the correct date in the spreadsheet. Also, do you know the date your file was transferred to MCVO??

You are (at least) a couple weeks ahead of our application so it will be interesting to see how things play out with processing in the MCVO.

Anyway, best wishes for a quick and successful application result!

Hi everyone,

First of all, the spreadsheet is looking great! Thanks CANzanillo!

We recently received stage 2 AOR, 97 days after receiving SA, I thought it was never going to come! Anyways, they asked us for an updated Schedule A Background / Declaration form (IMM 5669) detailing activity for the past 20 years (since turning 18). I thought this was a bit strange, we originally filled out the info for the past 10 years as per the application instructions, any idea why they would need more information? We're a fairly straight forward case, we've been living together in Chile for 6 years, were married in Canada 2 years ago, and have a 4y/o son. Also my husband is a University educated, has always been employed, etc. There shouldn't be any red flags however I'm now a little concerned..

Also, does anyone know what the next step is? I'm praying we don't get called for an interview since we're now located in Canada, and it would be kind of a pain to have to travel back to Chile (although we knew that was a possibility before we moved to Canada).

Any words of wisdom are greatly appreciated!
