I have added a new column in the Mexico Spreadsheet near the end. It is called;

Total days till PP Rec'd

It calculates the number of days from when the SA/PR application was initially received by the CPC in Mississauga until the PR applicant received their passport back, with PR visa, from the VO.

This seems more relevant to me vs Total days till landed when comparing processing times from one applicant to another.

I trust it will be useful to newer applicants to be able to track overall processing time.

I received AOR from Mexico after they did an initial review of our file two weeks after they received it from Mississauga. They sent request for the police certificate as well. According to my GCMS notes it took them a little less than a month from the time they forwarded the paperwork for the police certificate to the PGR to get the results back. I don't know whether they forward the paperwork to the PGR for processing if you do it early but it's worth a try - you could shave some time off the processing of your file.

Jack87, do you mind if I add you application data to the spreadsheet? Or you may wish to add it yourself?

TIA

Jamo (or anyone else that translated their PGR certificate), where did you get it done? In Mexico, Canada, US?

My mom-in-law is going to pick it up next week and I was thinking to have her FedEx it to me so I can send it to the same translator I used for our other documents, but that's like a 2 week process (her sending it to me, translating it, sending it back...). If I could get it done down there, that would be 1 less hassle. Also, should I find a perito traductor?

What say you?

ElleElle I used this company for ALL my translated documents (birth certificates, marriage certificate, pgr, etc) http://www.elan.com.mx
They are very professional, PGR translation cost me $250 pesos, and was ready in 36 hours.
It was certified by perito authorized by the Tribunal Superior.
I totally recommend them, located around WTC in MexCity, very centric.

We had ours done at the local university. They should be perito translators at the universities. You can ask them to be sure. It cost us $300 pesos and was done in 2 days. Then send it by courier to VO Mexico City.

I have added 2 additional spreadsheets along with the main spreadsheet. These are the same ones found in the January Outland Spousal Application Spreadsheet. (Thank you!)

One is a list of interview questions and the other is a place to record additional documents that the CIC or VO may request from applicants. The tabs for these spreadsheets can be found at the bottom of the main spreadsheet window.

No problem, go ahead :)

I have moved some columns in the spreadsheet so that there is a more logical flow to the application process;

- Received AOR before SA Approval
- File transfer to consulate before VO AOR

I am correct some of the color coding in the legend and spreadsheet as well as a few descriptions. I have also added "LANDED"to the legend with its own color coding.

If you happen to notice an error in the spreadsheet please let me know and I will correct it.

Thanks!

Thanks CANzanillo! It was long overdue. This morning I was trying to change my information and it wasn't working, I guess I now know why :)
I feel like the "Medical sent" section is a little ambiguous as to its meaning. For me, it would be more helpful to know when they actually did the exam too, so I could see how many months before expiry they ask for a new one.

And too bad about the 2013 information, it would've been of great help.

You applied this year and have gotten the letter requesting the PGR already?

Hi all! I have been reading your posts. My huband and I were nominated by Manitoba province as skill workers. Our application reached to CIC on June 26, 2014. They gave us our PER on August 28, 2014. Then, we received our medical request on Oct 2, 2014 (Done on Oct 9 and received by VO on Nov, 4, 2014). My E-CAS show two lines:

1) We received your application on June 26, 2014.
2) Medical results have been received

Which could be the next step? I have never seen in process...

When should I received the passport request?

Best wishes!

You can just scan it, very clearly, and send it by email to them...but you need to get your original translation from them, which has the signature of the perito and a legend certifying his name and saying he is authorized by the tribunal.
I can give you contact information of the person that helped me out.....I was very satisfied with their service.
They also translated my husbands birth certificate in order to get married in mexico city.

Things are looking up!!! Just moments ago received email AOR from CIC for our application received by them on January 19th, 2015. Woohooo!! 61 days!

Can't wait for SA and then file transfer to Mexico City!!

I would appreciate the contact information! Thank you for the info!

It is still unclear to me whether or not a translation of the PGR report is required, I have read that some did not translate but were approved, though I suppose better safe than sorry!

I have added a "Medical Done" and a "Days since Medical Done" column to the spreadsheet.

I will update current username data for these columns as I see the information in posts. Otherwise everyone can feel free to update and verify their data...

I have update Medical Done data for ElleElle74, JAMO1973, FabiBeach, fatimafnts.
