Hi my friends! I got a question If I send my birth certificate without the finger prints it is o.k? because it doesn't have the legend the present document is a certify copy.... which one did u send with finger prints or without? in the case of Mexico thanks a lot I am getting crazy lol
I think the one with the fingerprints is the one they got in the files of Registro civil. I send the one they gave me when I went to Registro Civil and asked them for a certified photocopy of my birth certificate. It says in the top part of it something about being an exact copy of the information that is in the book (of course with a long legal stuff). At the end of the document it says something that this certification lalala... and it got the seal and the signature.

But I don't know if someone sent the one with the fingerprints.

Thank u very much Msprisci and Gamy over :) you are so nice! :-* :-* I have some other questions:

1.-In IM008 Where they ask for de UCI I need to let it empty or I have to put N/A?

2.- I got to put N/A in the parts that doesn’t correspond to me even if i answer NO a some questions and I have to put N/A in every single space in blank?

3.- I have to sign forms that do not apply to me and put them N/A or just put them N/A without sign them?

4.- In 5659 Personal History I understand that there are not to be any gaps in the history, so those need to be accounted for with "unemployed" or what have you, but it's unclear to me how to account for periods of overlapping activity.
Can I write it like this:
2000/01 to 2000/10 school
2000/10 to 2001/5 job 1
2001/5 to 2012/07 job 2

Or

2000/01 to 2000/10 school
2000/03 to 2000/11 job 1
2000/11 to 2000/ job 2

How could I writte it??? Please 

5.- Do I need to sign the form 1344 or put N/A if my husband and me intend to reside in the province of Quebec because de guide says:

" Sponsored persons who intend to reside with their sponsor in Quebec are not required to sign the IMM 1344."

I was asking that although it seems obvious because I have read that people who is waiting their document in return they think it was for that ( for not sign it) and like there are a lot of confusion in the forms and guides with not clear information for that I asked that question

Thanks for all your help I feel that im getting crazy with this I cannot finish :( I need some light!!! ??? ???

I did not sign anything/paper that did not apply to me, and I would recommend you to do the same, and I did put N/A in the tables/questions that did not apply, to show them I saw the question and intentionally left it blank.

Are you looking at the immigration guide while filing up your application? It gives you step by step directions to fill up each document. You shouldn't have any questions regarding the document filing process after that :)
Here is the link:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/3999Etoc.asp

This is taken from this guide:
Indicate your Unique Client Identifier number (UCI) or Client Identification number (Client ID), if known (8-digit number). Otherwise, leave it blank. If this is your first application with CIC you will not have a UCI or a Client ID.

As the guide says, you don't have to fill up IMM 1344. This part will be adressed once your sponsor applies for the undertaking application (to get you the CSQ).

Hope it helps!

Hi everyone!

My husband has been approved as Sponsor and our docs are been sent to Mexico City.

Can anyone tell me what to expect now? How long does it take for them to contact me? What do I have to do?

Thank you in advance!!!

Congrats! That's exciting news.

Now you just need to use the happiness to hold you over until you hear back from the Embassy. At some point they will ask you for your police certificates.

A few things you could consider doing:
- Drop off or mail the Embassy a pre-paid courier waybill with a cover letter asking them to use it to mail you the PGR request letter so you receive it much faster.
- Make sure you collect the requirements you'll need to get the PGR background check. You can find the details at http://www.pgr.gob.mx/Servicios/Constancia/antecedentes%20registrales.asp. You'll notice they ask for recent birth certificates and fotografias tamaño filiación (get filiación since you are in Mexico, not passport-sized). For the photos and payment you'll need to wait until you know you're going since they have to be recent.

Good luck and may this next step be very quick!

You can drop off an envelope at the address on your sponsor confirmation (the visa section is in a separate building). Make sure to put your file number on the envelope and include a letter explaining you are including a prepaid waybill for them to send you the police certificate request letter.

As always, remember to keep a copy of all correspondence you mail or drop off.

Hi everyone ;D

If everything goes fine my husband will be sending our application package tomorrow to CPC-M, it's really exciting finally have everything done, but at the same time make me a little nervous ???.

I was wondering this thread doesn't have a spreadsheet, to see how the times are going in Mexico City VO?

Good week to everyone

I think he/she meant something like a Google Doc (which would be cool to have if we don't have one, I would be more than happy to make it)

Yeah I could open it, I'm going to add me when I send my application if supposed to be tomorrow, if anyone wants to add to that. That way people that just applied can have an idea how the process is going. ;D

Hi!

It would be awesome if we can keep this spreadsheet updated.

If you don't mind here my info:

*Application received on June 11th 2013 (Mississauga)
*AoR received on July 4th
*SA received on July 4th
*AoR from VO: still waiting :)
