He's going to the embassy Monday (since he can't go Friday). We're booking a ticket for next Friday.

Careful about that! i believe the embassy is closed on monday for the independence. Just double check first!

For everyone I haven't told already. Shockingly my husband got his request for his passport today!!

also an update with us.
my husband went to get his pgr last friday, and they told him it wouldnt be ready till sept 20.
but he got a phone call today and it was ready, so he ran over and picked it up and will be mailing it to the embassy tomorrow

tsjunx how far along are you and your wife with the police checks?

Still waiting for the PGR, once it's ready my wife is heading to Mex city to get the one from the SSP and then drop it off at the embassy, so hopefully next week.
