Same here, although I disagree with the worrying part. I'm in a perpetual state of impatience and uncertainty. Going bald in my mid-twenties due to stress would NOT be good! :o

Egar, you will be happy to know that my fiance has decided to grow a protest beard and moustache as well, not sure what I think about it and hoping this goes quick so I can shave it off lol !

Aw, you and your husband sent it the additional documents needed so that you can be approved as a sponsor, right?

Hahaha awesome! Now I'm not the only one :) Let's hope we don't end up looking like ZZ Top!

P.S. Today is officially one week since I submitted my ARC application. Hoping it goes by quickly! :)

I'm sending out positive vibes for you over here Edgar! By the way, all things 80's are coming back in style so the ZZ Top look will probably look really hip now 8)

Thanks for the positive vibes! LOL My friends keep teasing me about the ZZ (Zed Zed? LOL) Top look. It will come in handy for "Movember" anyway!

Yeah beards should come with a disclaimer saying they might give you delusions of grandeur! Hopefully the ARC is now just a formality and they process it quickly. :)

Dear Embassy workers,
Please hurry along the files on your desk for us...maybe not take as long of lunch breaks or skip a coffee once in a while....we would love to be reunited with our families!

How do I know that the embassy recevied my husbands redo medical...
Or should I just trust that they did?

How cool would it be if they were exploited just like Mexicans? 10 hour shifts 6 days a week. Then again they might become just as productive as our Mexican government employees (read: zero) so it might be a double-edge sword.

I'm already aware that I'll be waiting for at least two months, but it gets harder and harder with each passing day.

I found out because it said on eCas. Other than that I wouldn't know. It's safe to assume that results don't get lost in this case because they're sent to Ottawa and the embassy just pulls the info. I don't think they send the actual results to Mexico City.

Okay.
Because our exam was done on august 10 I think.. Or 16.. I can't remember but sept 6 would have been exactly 3 weeks since it was done. But nothing showed up on ecase yet.

No update on our ecas either, boo :(

My husband sent for the refugee papers yesterday. He faxed the written request. So let's hope it doesn't take to long to receive the papers!

The doctors send the medicals in bulk packages. They wait until they get a nice batch of exams and then they send them (to save on shipping). CIC normally gives you 90 days to complete them, which means they won't check if they're there until the 90 days have passed. Or maybe they just can't be bothered to update everyone's eCas :P

There no new updates on my eCas, but then again I probably won't see anything new until I get my PPR.
