Do you think going right to college when he turned 18 would be a good reason on why he didn't get it. Or should he stick with that he wasn't in the country at that time? We have all the proofs he went to school than, his degress and stuff

They do ask you for your most recent degree/diploma. I took my Ontario Secondary School Diploma and the guy was puzzled and totally confused, so he just wrote that I finished up to Grade 9 ¬_¬

Since he has an undergraduate degree from Mexico, I would just have him say that he was also working to help his family while studying, hence no time to do the whole cartilla. ;)

Yeah it's nice that there are quite a few of us that are all at the same step. I think there's 5 of us here that got the AOR within the last month. The race is on for PGRs!! lol Hopefully all 5 PGRs will be on the way to the embassy soon!

Come on PGRs!!! lol... Octavio received ours this morning. Guess we're gonna keep them busy?? ::)

Ok question we had to send an updated schedule A because we had a month missing from the first one.
Then when we send it back (at the same time as the prepaid waybill) it had a couple other corrections as my husband found the information for 2 streets he didnt include the first time.. anyways we gave that in on Aug 06

No apparently the embassy called requesting that we send the form again.
Is this normal? I’m really not feeling good about this.
Why would they ask for another signed copy of a document we already sent in just a couple weeks ago?

Has anyone gotten a call before?

Hmm, not that I read on here.. dont they usually ask for things via email?

That’s what I thought. Because I assume they would always want a paper trail.
At this point I don’t know if my immigration consultant is lying to me or if this is very very bad.. :'(

Why would it be very bad? Sorry I am not following here.. Is your immigration consultant say that the embassy is calling him?

If you're afraid it's a crank call, consider sending the VO a case specific enquiry with an electronic version of the form attached referencing the call and the fact that you just sent them a copy. Hopefully, it's as simple as a dropped cup of coffee ::)

I am worried because we changed the form from what we sent them the first time. I just cant understand why they would ask for the exact same document we just sent them 15 days ago.. it makes me worry something is wrong..
The immigration cosultant said the embassy called requesting another signed Schedual A ASAP

Is it possible that the person working on our case like damaged the original one we sent and just needs another copy but didnt want to make an offical request? Like maybe it got stuck in the scanner or something?

At this point I dont know what to think.. But I just cant see it being normal practice for the embassy to pick up the phone call you and tell you to send another copy of a form youve already sent

Thanks. The immigration cosultant doesnt seem to this its an issue.. but im stressing to the max over here. I hope its just that something happened to the document like the coffee... best case they feel bad about it and process it more quickly.. LOL

I think the part that worried me the most was that I havnt heard anyone else saying they have gotten a call before.

Hi Chuladaa, try not to stress too much, maybe the form didn't make it, or they haven't matched it up with your file. I havent heard about calls from the Mexico VO but I have from other offices, like Guatemala and Jamaica, maybe it was easier to pick up the phone than send an email. I second OhCanadiana's suggestion about sending the form again, hope everything works out!

I know someone who got a call from the Mexico Visa Office before suggesting they withdraw a visitor visa (while they had a PR app in process) so it isn't the first time they would call. Don't stress out over this :)

And be happy they are actively working on your app :)

We have been called. I can't imagine it wasn't a legitimate call. I wouldn't worry about it - just send the form in again. It was probably lost or spilled on.

Well, that's it. Today is officially four weeks since I gave them the FBI police clearance. So I'm gonna send them a case-specific enquiry. Do you guys have the website so I can do this?

Thanks!
