Nessa said:Oh you have no idea how many issues I have had with my birth certificate in the 3 years I have been here! When I applied for my student visa they wouldn´t accept it so I had to get them a copy of my parent´s birth certificates and their marriage certificate!
And so when I got married I asked them if that would be a problem and they said no...so that was okay!
But just the other day I had to hand in my birth certificate to be able to do my thesis defence and the girl literally laughed in my face and says ¨is that it??? ....well we will see if they accept it...¨
you can request the long version of your birth certificate online.. i ordered it when i thought i needed it to be married in mexico but they didnt end up needing it.. it has all the information about your parents and where they were born.. i think it even names the dr who gave birth to you..
i didnt understand the point of the blood work the guy took our blood then we never heard anything about it again.. so who knows where it ended up.. i thought the mexico wedding pappers were really confusing we were soo stressed.. and i was only there for a week and a half so it was really stressful since they dont follow their timelines..
