In the March thread she said she got an AOR as well as a request for payment/police clearance/documents. That was fast! Good news for the rest of you.

OMG! I'm in shock. She got her sponsorship arroval the same day as I did. I didn't expect to hear anything for months. If we hear something soon, I would be beyond thrilled!!

Yes we got two letters from them one was the AOR dated July 20

Congratulations!

First, don't be hard on yourself. The SSP is a newish requirement and, if you're already getting the request for it from the Mexico VO you had no way of knowing before applying.

Wow, that's amazing! Congrats! I would be shocked too!! lol Yes, I'm wondering too if they were e-mailed? I'm assuming they must have been, because the mail is not that fast there

So how long was it from sponsorship approval to mexico AOR?

If they give you an option to have the PGR letter sent FedEx, do you think they would give you the option to pick it up at the embassy? Since we'll go to Mexico city anyway to get the PGR and SSP. That seems to make more sense, and would be faster than waiting for the mail.

Nessa - When you received your PGR letter, was it the same as Chuladaa's? Did it give you the option to send a waybill # to receive it?

Well seems we are missing some documents, so we are now rushing around to collect them. Answers the question why they cancelled the AOR email. Recieved the email this morning. Kind of annoying because I asked my lawyer about these (documents for his daughters) worried that it may hold us up and they told me we didnt need them now and to wait. So annoyed, not even sure why I paid the guy at this point ! So we have till september 30th to get them to CIC but hoping we do it sooner than that, then we should finally be approved. Good grief !

That's frustrating!! I hope you can get everything done soon. You're only one step away now from being approved. You'll get there!!
