The only other thing I can think of, is it's some kind of mix up with having two last names. I tried both, and I tried just one, but nothing works. I guess I don't need to worry too much right now about them having the wrong address, as it will likely be a while before they mail him anything :)
But I'll try again after they update the website.. just to see :)

I thought file numbers for PR started with an F but yours has a B? Maybe try an F?

Use both last names. We do and that is the only way it works. No hyphen for us.

You have a B? I don't think it depends on VO.

no no...mine is an F.....TSBaxter(?) said his was a B.....

Tried "F" too, no luck. The "B" is what the CIC call center gave me, although she didn't really know what she talking about. She told me the Client ID was the only number, so good chance she could be wrong. Where did you guys get your file number from? Would it be on the sponsorship approval? It's possible I may still receive this through the mail.

Yeah mine is an F too and TSBaxter and I are both Mexico. So it isn't by VO. I wonder what the difference is.

thinking the agent on the phone was not the brightest.....imagine that!!!!

I think F means Family. My husband's withdrawn visitor's visa app number started with a V, for visitor most likely.

So what would B stand for?

Out of curiosity I looked it up an seems B used to be the old number and now it is F. And sure enough our 2010 app has a B. So not sure why they are still using B.

Oh nevermind, I think it is still either B or F. Not sure why.
