Dios te oiga Luna! Are you currently in Venezuela? We are not sure about how to send the passport once they request it (hopefully soon), I think the only option for venezuelans is send it through VFS Caracas. Do you know any other way? I just want to have my wife here before Christmas

No I'm the one here in Canada, waiting for my husband as well. I think that the only option we have is VSF because DHL or FedEx are not accepting pays is bsf... I hope they hurry up!

Hello guys we just check out Ecas and we have a new saying Medical have been received under PR applicant. Does this mean that the VO has already received our app? Or toes it mean they will be sendin SA soon?

Hello guys we just check out Ecas and we have a new saying Medical have been received under PR applicant. Does this mean that the VO has already received our app? Or toes it mean they will be sendin SA soon?

Good Morning Jbodden! No As far as I know there is no relationship between an Ecas update that medicals were received and the VO receiving your file. Your file is still in Mississauga undergoing scrutiny for spousal approval. Based on spreadsheet data it looks like you may receive notification of spousal approval within the next 3 weeks (assuming a complete and uncomplicated spousal application). Only after that will the file get sent to the MCVO.

In our case our Ecas has never been updated with medicals received, though I am quite sure they were received as we were not asked about them when they requested other documentation recently.

You still have a ways to go 8)

Does this mean they are reviewing it or no yet?
Is someone experiencing the same process as I am?
I would really appreciate any comments! I can't believe I just found this website! It would have been so useful during the whole process of getting documents ready and filling out papers!

Welcome csanti to our little world! Looks like your application is moving along at a fairly quick pace. It sounds like you have received AOR2 from the MCVO, so yes, it should be undergoing scrutiny at this point in time. Hard to say how much longer you will have to wait. Depends on how complete and non-complicated your application is, but probably minimum 4 months.

Just saw a thread that many applicants have just received Ecas update for "Medicals Received", so I just checked mine and sure enough line #3 added today, "Medicals Received!"
