Fantastic news, we got passport request today, I couldn't be happier
We got a request for additional evidence of common law relationship on June 29th, ARC request on July 10th and Passport Request today, July 23rd.


Question:

Do you have to send in proof of a flight to Canada?
What is a Prepaid Airway Bill?

Wow. Excellent news! You must be so happy it's almost over.

I have never heard of anyone doing PR visa that has had to send proof of a flight. They will give you a landing date in the COPR and you book your flight to arrive sometime before the landing date.

The prepaid airway bill I presume is the prepaid courier airway bill that you should send with your passport so they can use it to send you back your passport asap. You will need to set up an account with Fedex so that you can send them the prepaid airway bill. Highly recommended that you do this!

no you don't need to show proof of flight, unless requested.

Airway bill allows the embassy to return documents secure and paid (by you). You must send them a empty envelope ie (fed ex etc) with your passport with your return address. Best not to let anyone see you are sending passport.

We are December 2014 applicants, we've received our AOR2 from MCVO on July 20, 2015. ECAS has been updated to 'in process'.
