Can someone tell me roughly how long it takes to get clearance for the PGR. We gave the Embassy my husbands certificate over 2 months ago and still waiting...zzzzzzz!

hes got to get a transit visa for the usa! so hell apply for that right away after he sends in his passport

What is a "Transit Visa" and why does he need that if he is flying directly to Canada?? Why does everthing have to be so damn complex! lol

he cant fly direct, cuz we have a big dog, the only airline that will take her is aeromexico, so he needs to fly either from mexico city to LAX to Vancouver or mexico city to montreal to Calgary lol.

through the states is cheaper and faster
and I can drive to pick them up in vancovuer :)

Oh I see! Oh you live in Vancouver?? So do I... well we will be residing in Richmond if all goes well. If not I guess I'll be international bound..... :o

we used to live in Vancouver for 4 years!
but when we went back to mexico, we gave up our home
so now im living back in alberta in my home town.

so he will come back here. but its only about 11 hours drive, so ill go pick him up :)

Yes, I did get that information from the AOR we received from Mexico.

We got our AOR at in August and as you can see from my timeline the 6 month mark has come and gone. lol
