Hello support group :)

So...we were asked to pay the RPRF on the 18th of April, given 30 days to do so. We have paid...and now...? It has been a month and I am wondering if anyone knows if this means all the security checks have passed and we have been approved? Or, how long it will take now for the PPR to happen?

I am really hoping to buy plane tickets soon! And looking forward to all the parties in Canada when my husband can finally land!
The fees are usually requested with the PPR. I am assuming you are very close!

We got a call tonight from the PGR (at like 9:00pm!) saying that my husband´s paper is ready! So we will go pick it up tomorrow morning and send it off tomorrow too. :D

The PGR folks work really long days - their typical workday ends that late. When I called for info and someone said to call back around 8:30 or 9pm I was floored!

Yeah I didn´t believe my husband when he told me it was them. Because we have been kind of joking around in the last days everytime the phone rings saying ¨Oh it´s the PGR!!¨. So yesterday the phone rang at 9pm and when he hung up I was like ¨who was that?¨ and he says ¨PGR, my paper is ready¨ and I was like ¨yeah right, tell me who it was!¨ hahah

Does anyone have any suggestions on bridge health insurance during the waiting period until OHIP takes effect? (Providers)

How much insurance does one need and what is a reasonable deductible? (usually never get sick but want accident coverage)

We will be spending a couple weeks driving in the US before arriving in Ontario, would be great to have coverage in the US as well....

Thanks in advance for any tips....

Cant believe a month has gone by since handing in the application. Hopefully processing times go down and we get sponsorship approval soon :)
