Congrats to all who are receiving PPR, anyone file got transfer to Trinidad office how long do they take to give interviews, and PPR.

I’m from Guyana , my husband Canadian.
Our file took about 6 months to leave Mexico to go trinidad & we got our email with interview date another 5 months after. This year March I did my interview.
And recieved PPR last week.
No the officers do not come to Guyana, u have to fly to Trinidad instead for your interview in person with them.

O My, how long did you stay in Trinidad for. Our application will be 1 year next month in Mexico, I send them Webform they respond by saying our application is in transit to Trinidad. I hope you get back your stuff soon from Trinidad to travel.

Thank you. I sent them Webform they respond within 2 hours, saying my application is in transit to Trinidad and interviews is needed. Next month will be one year in Mexico.
I got to POS the day before the interview, and left for Guyana the day after the interview so just three days I was there for. Also in that same day I was leaving I got pre arrival service email.
Yes hoping to receive back my passport this week or next week.

Would you mind sharing how you get things organized from Guyana to Trinidad the hotel and car service you used, my husband is due for an interview they said just want to get things in place in case he have to go.
well my husband booked my hotel from his end.
KAPOK hotel I stayed at. That is way closer to the Canadian Embassy there.
After I got to the airport I took a cab from right outside the airport, they have taxi services right there as soon as I exited the airport so no need to worry.
When getting to my interview I booked for a taxi from the hotel that took me there an brought me straight back also.
I was at my interview an hour early.
Gives u enough time to sit down and relax and breathe, than to rush through everything.
But one thing, when u get to the immigration officer at trinidad the airport they’d ask why you’re in Trinidad, when u tell them you’re there for an interview do have your interview paper and documents to show at hand. They want to see your paperwork’s and letter from IRCC right there etc.
