As I said before I would love to know that our application was approved but it's been 5 months since I got that message, so I apologize for being a little skeptical.

I don't think you should "laugh out loud" at anyone just because they don't understand something the same as you do, but that's my humble opinion. Trust me, if I didn't already have a positive attitude, I wouldn't be checking this forum everyday waiting for good news and applauding others when they get it too.

Do you have some proof from the CIC website to back up your 100% approved belief? I just want to know for sure, I'm not trying to give you a bad time.
What does pre arrival letter mean?
Pre-arrival services letter is good news......as it means you have passed eligibility assessment......and on-completion of background check which takes awhile......you will receive passport request (PPR)........ relax........Jun 4, 2018

I know persons who has received pre arrival service after 7 and 8 months of silence so I know what you’re coming with. I don’t doubt u. I understand instead. So As I said before everybody’s application is different. Some include kids, divorcee, past refusal, etc etc

So are those enough proof? Just trying to be helpful so u also can be at ease that your application has been approved like everyone else that has received pre arrival service within this forum.

This is the info I had as well, and as it says, "eligibility assessment has been passed and on completion of background check you will receive PPR". That's when it's 100% approved in my mind.

Although I don't expect any issues with background check, there is still one more process to go through so I, personally, wouldn't say it's 100% approved. That is why I was surprised several people responded that it was a guarantee ... 100% approval. All I'm saying is that something could still go wrong with the last process, so I'd rather be optimistic until it's ALL completed and I know it's 100% approved. All cleared up, thank you.

Hola amigos buenas noche
Solo me gustaria compartir mi caso
Soy aplicante de octubre 2018
Mi caso he transferido a mexico julio 2019

Application was receive on October 2018, from Panama
Congratulations! You’ll get the PPR soon. We also got decision made on May 6. I’ve seen that the profile has been updated on cléGC two days ago so I’m waiting for PPR. My husband is also from Panamá and I am with him right now. Hoping to go back to Canada with him this time. We’re from July 2018.

Well its did because back In august Mexico misplaced our file ,we weren’t hearing anything for about 4 months from them, then when we finally did was when it was transferring to Trinidad , it got lost in transit to the states instead of going to Trinidad VO!! So we had to re submit back our stuff to Mexico ASAP so that’s why the hold up!! So finally glad i completed my interview Back in March jus before borders closed and got pre arrival and now they’re updating it with something new!!So happy!! It’s about time!!!
So trust me when I say yes some of us in here from 2018 have been through hell with immigration and we’re not complaining like some 2019 persons that just started this immigration process.
Yep - we are almost at 2 years too - and our interview was cancelled 5 days before it happened - on March 17th when they knew they were closing the borders to Trinidad. It's hell. Now we are waiting for updated criminal background checks that we asked for in Cuba back in FEBRUARY. They weren't ready before the entire country shut down - now we are waiting for things to open up again so we can retrieve those and submit them to IRCC. If we still have to do an interview in Trinidad I am going to lose it.

We have some similarities. We also have a daughter and have been appart for 10 months. He met her for the first time when she was 6 months old. She is now 9 months old. I hope we will all be relieved soon.
