BEST POST EVER !!!!!!!!!!

OMG You just said everything that I think !!
The whole process with latin america is very unfair when you compare with the rest of the world and I wonder why

I want to know what is going on with Mexico VO.....

I am seeing some ARRANGED marriages getting PPR faster and they submitted applications MONTHS after us. It seems unfair.
How is this even possible? Arranged marriages are being approved faster than longstanding, traditional, uncomplicated, well documented marriage cases with 0 dependents (some with babies on the way,)?

I am also seeing places from overseas getting processed much quicker than any Central American nation going through Mexico. If they have a system to process people from North Africa or India so quickly, why are similar processes not implemented for Mexico VO as well?

Are there enough agents? Are they overloaded? Are the agents paid on a typical Mexican salary?
(Wages in Mexico averaged 241.43 MXN/Day from 2000 until 2019, reaching an all time high of 373.60 MXN/Day in February of 2019)
-tradingeconomics . com .... // that means workers make around $25 per day. That's likely what CDN Visa Officers make per HOUR here. Does poor wage = less productivity?

I am not in any way trying to be rude or sound ungrateful about anything, these are just legitimate questions I have about the state of Mexico Visa Office and the protocol for processing applications via Mexico City VO. Many of the people with Central American PA's have applications averaging a processing time of 13-30 months!

I am pretty sure the people working in the Mexico VO are being paid the Canadian wage? But I don't know for sure. I do agree that it is extremely hard to watch others get their Visa's in less time. No

Mexico VO is SUPER SLOW, I honestly believe that they are overwhelmed with all the new Countries they are handling? Its not an excuse at all but I am almost positive this is the reason.
This office has always been slow , but I dont think wages are the problem at all. My opinion its the overwhelming amount of applications sent there. Hang in there everyone our day will arrrive :)

I am in the same situation :) Technically my app was received Nov. 30. Still waiting for transfer to Mexico.
After receiving my notes, I did see that a lot of work was done in the Sydney office before my file was transferred to the Mexico VO (They started the eligibility). My app is in Mexico now and unfortunately has not been touched since arrival. I did see a BF date for Mid May..... maybe thats when the work will start again. Hang in there everyone :)

I changed my address beginning of March, got a reply 3 days later saying itll be changed on my file. Almost April and nothing changed lol. I suspect they're also doing nothing on my file despite the "We started processing your application on March 1st" message on ECAS.

What does BF date mean?

100% agree with you... I am not holding my breath haha. I honestly ordered the notes because I was curious why the file had not been transferred. Turns out the scanned file has been there since Feb 22 and the actual paper file arrived March 1???/ which does not correspond with ecas at all. Doesn't surprise me in the least I expect September which is 12 months.
I do plan on ordering notes again late July early Aug just to see LOL

I had the same problem!

I sent 3 emails requesting them to change my address. The first one was in October. We are almost in April and they still have not changed it.
Unbelievable!!!

Awe that is great he was able to be here with you. Unfortunately, we tried for a VV but it was a no. I was visiting every 3 months but now that we are at the halfway mark we have decided to just save the money and use it for settlement here in Canada. I figure it will be at least 12 months, I have seen more ..... patience is not my strong suit, but I am getting better haha

Question for the Brazilians in this group. Any of you got your file transferred back to Brazil from Mexico?
I know one case, so I am curious to know if Mexico VO will be doing the same with other Brazilian applications

Ah ok , very cool story. Still very lucky to have him here through the process . It’s already difficult enough . I know my day will come soon enough and I’m sure I will be scrambling to get prepared hahaha
