Medicals passed. No biometrics provided due to closure of vac's

Hello guys.
I have submitted my application recently with the timeline provided below.
application submitted: April 23, 2021(SDS India)
BIL received: April 24, 2021
Medical passed: May 07, 2021(upfront)
The thing is I have not done my biometrics yet due to vac closure all over India. I have seen most if not all applications here getting their medical passed after biometric submission. recently I saw one more post with the same thing. One more thing I received no mail on Medical passing, I just logged in to my account it today and saw it, note that I have received mail for all other updates. So is it something that needs to be worried of or is it normal and is happening these days? anyone else with same experience?

I have really no idea how it happened. but again it is not just me as it seems. that other thread I mentioned above seems to have the same case. It was a ghost update btw, no mail received I just logged in to gc key account and the status was updated.

Because they actually process applications without biometrics. It's just that you won't receive a decision nor PPR if you haven't provided it.

You can expect ghost updates like OP here. Give your biometrics as soon as VFS opens back up in India.

Hey for medical even I didn't receive an email updation. I logged into my account and I saw that I passed. So don't worry about that

So what will be the effect of VFS being closed when the process is continuing normally with medical and other updates?
Do we not get PPR until Biometrics are provided?

Considering the current situation in India, the condition could remain same for 2-3 months. And it will be late for 2021 intake.

Correct -- your application will be processed but you will not receive a decision nor PPR until you provide your biometrics.
