Medicals done and sent by doctor - now what?

Hey,

So I know this question has been asked before but I can't seem to find the thread over here....Or something more recent.

My medicals were sent by the doctor on November 3, 2011. I live in Ottawa, so does the doctor, and the immigration receiving office is in Ottawa as well. So I guess it couldn't have taken more than a couple of days to be mailed over.

Application filed on Sept 7, and according to ECAS they started processing it on October 14, 2011.

Any idea of a more recent timeline as to what happens next, what I can expect? File was transferred to CPP-Ottawa.

It normally takes 1 - 2 months before you hear anything back from CIC after you have done you medicals, again depends on case to case basis. I got received a response from them 2 months after I did my medicals.

Well, Asif can you explain a lil more that what exactly did you hear? your RPRF or just a letter fro initial assessment?

Depends on your medical results ... If everything is good then you get your Passport request or else you get a letter explaining the reason why you did get approved

Yeah ... got it with my medical request along with the RPRF
