Hello! Can someone answer me one question please? I am almost done with my MPNP process and waiting my LOA any time. I am still in Europe, I have job offer from Manitoba employer. When i receive my LOA can I go work to Manitoba immediately or do I have to do my PR medical first to enter Canada? Thank you for your answer.....

YOU CAN NOT COME IN CANADA WITH LOA.

YOU EITHER NEED A WORK PERMIT OR TRV IF YOU WANT TO WORK/VISIT CANADA.

Can you explain me that little bit more please? As I found on official MPNP site, there is no mention of work permit.....

Quote : Approved applications: If your application is approved, we will mail you a nomination package that includes your Approval Letter, instructions for submitting a Canadian permanent resident visa application and invitation to continue your settlement planning using the MPNP Pre-arrival Workbook.

Just to mention that I applied for MPNP as part of strategic initiative and received 500 points for my job offer.....

You should check that better, but maybe you could apply for a work permit and wait/apply for you PR in Canada.

Once you get your MPNP, you will have to apply through express entry.

CHECK THE EXPRESS ENTRY SECTION FOR DETAILS.

I am pretty sure that with your MPNP and a work permit support letter from PNP and if your employer registers you with employment standards and fills out an online form and pays a compliance fee of $230 that you can apply for a closed work permit. So I don't think it's impossible to get a work permit but you and your employer will have to jump through hoops. Also by the time you get Work Permit you could already be close to getting PR. So you need to deside how much work you are willing to do just to try to get out here and work a few months sooner than if you just focus on your PR application.

Depending on what country you are from you may also need a TRV along with the work permit.
