I did my medicals on Jan 9,2017 where doctor found blood in my urine.
I disclosed him that I have PCOS and he called me again on Jan 16,2017 for extra blood work.
after that he uploaded my results to CIC , my medicals say that patient has PCOS and found some spotting though no period which is common in PCOS and he gave me grade B.
I submitted my application on Feb 13,2017 no movement as of yet

In my first urine test they found blood in urine. So they called me next day again to redo the urine test. I do not have PCOS. After researching on internet I found that blood in urine may be found for various reasons such as Urinary tract infection (UTI) which is very common in females, excessive workout just before test, etc. I guessed I had mild UTI because I had it previously during pregnancy. As a solution I found that drinking lots of water, water melon, cranberry juice helps in cleaning the system. I drank lots of juices and water before the second test day which was only a day apart from my first test day. Just like you I was also worried about the result. However, I passed medicals in 2 weeks after submitting my file. You should be doing fine too. Wish you good luck.

So does this also mean that medicals should not be scheduled during periods for women? I am anticipating such a scenario for my spouse.. But if it was so particular, I presume they would have mentioned during appointment? The receptionist didn't say anything on this. I have a 50 mile drive and I really don't want to visit the clinic twice for this with my baby. Should I reschedule my appointment?

I will keep you guys posted about my medical status

Actually I called up and asked this, they told me to reschedule it to be on the safe side... they also made sure that it was like 3-4 days after the end of period... I advise that you call up before....

Indeed. Schedule it mid cycle. I did mine a week after and they still found 'trace' (not enough to require a retest)

There is chances that blood may enter the urine sample if done during periods and the results would show blood traces. It is advisable to not go for medical during periods. They didn't mention anything during appointment, however, during the test I remember the lady asked me if I was on period and the date of my last period.

My wife rang the clinic too and they told her she had to come mid cycle and they could reschedule in case of periods.

is there any list of medical condition which list all the not admissible medical condition ?

I am facing similar situation where I don't know if my medical will pass or fail ?

My X-ray showed some abnormal growth around my first rib and so PP asked for CT scan. I submitted CT but even CT report says it's either benign (non cancerous tumor) or it could be malignancy so I am not sure that CT report I submitted to IRCC will be enough.

If only there was anyway for me to check if either of these condition can cause rejection or not

I would like to see a list of ailments that CIC considers as exceeding the threshold.

Women bleed 29/30 days. That magic day when it's not happening is hard to guess!

I would like to know too. A list of what they check for, and what they can find that is inadmissible

For women with PCOS, 29/30 days is not a regular occurrence. It can happen anytime longer than that.

Thanks for the warning ! They told me it would be ok if its 3-4 days later... I hope I wont have to go there again ... :( I just feel that I am in a rush and thus I did not reschedule it to a later date... I hope I wont be regretting it!
