I payed $400 for emedicals last month in Edmonton: 250 physician visit, 50 -x-ray and 100 blood work. Came up total of 800 dollars for myself and my husband. Do you know how long does it usually take until the results are sent to cic? Its been 2 weeks since I did it and I went to the clinic today and found out that they are still waiting for the results :(

Adding to this, I would advice you to go for EMedicals since its faster and probability of CIC missing them is low.

I did advance medicals (paper one) from same doctor mentioned above and CIC is not able to find my medicals :(. I did medicals in November 2012 and sent a casual inquiry yesterday to check if CIC has my medicals on my file or not but CIC said, they sont have them on my file. I sent them copy of receipt and tracking number and explained that the same were sent and CIC may have missed them. Waiting for CIC to comeback to me.

If I was you, I would go for emedicals.

Dilli,

Just wanted to know from where you did your medicals? has it been updated on ecas?

thanks,

I did at Etobicoke and my ECAS is still application received but CIC has confirmed they received my medicals in 2 weeks after I did medicals. I did paper based medicals and so it took 2 weeks. My ECAS is Application received and I did advance medicals.

That's good. I did emedical on May 15th and according to the doctor he sent it on June 10th. It is still not updated on ECAS about medical. I doubt on doctor's part.
