I need your help.
My parter and I got our PR last year, me as main applicant and her as dependant, common law partner.
We stupidly though that it was valid for one year starting the issue date :/
I arrived 5 days before my medical expired so it's all good for me, however my parter landed 5 days after her medical expired. The immigration agent at Pearson airport kept her passeport and said she will go through an investigation to decide wether she will be allowed to stay. She has an appointment in one month at Pearson airport to receive the decision.
Any idea what is going to happen? We are a bit stressed.
