MBA is a course oriented program. whereas. M.sc mgt is research oriented. In M.sc mgt you spend a lot of time on your thesis which is integral part of your degree. If you want to pursue an academic career inthe field of Managemnet, or want to become a consultant, then you should go for M.sc mgt. Few M.sc mgt student also get corporate job as research analyst. Another advantage of M.sc mgt is its low tution fee as compare to MBA. Many universities also provide fellowships for M.sc mgt.

On the other hand, MBA is expenisev but getting a managerial job after doing MBA from a good uni is more probable. Almost all Canadian Universities require GMAT for M.sc mgt and MBA.
