It is July 9th... I applied for proof though, not grant of citizenship.

What's difference between "proof of citizenship" and "grant of citizenship"?

Proof - when you already have it (e.g. by descent) but were born abroad so you need to get the citizenship certificate.
Grant - for those who need to be naturalized (i.e. have "earned" citizenship) and that needs to be verified, etc.

Anyone in the May thread received the Booklet / AOR by mail yet?

Don't think it's really important but the "received line" has disappeared today.

The received line in most cases means that your background checks have been completed and your file is in the process of being transferred to your local office for scheduling test and oath.

I haven't either letter or booklet, but have seen on forum that some people rec'd their AOR by email.

I am calling the CIC office today to find out about letter and whether my application was sent to my local office yet.
