Oh my God guys.... I got notice to write the "citizenship for test and for verification of identity documents" in about 2 weeks. :P :P :P It came from the local office. I am so excited but I have to start studying now. lol

Nope, I haven't and I doubt I will because the notice has my file #, case ID, client ID. I'm thinking since the CIC agent had sent me the Discover Canada book electronically, perhaps I won't be getting any else. Is there an app for Android? I have a Samsung Galaxy S4.

Yes!

Discover Canada: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.discovercanada (english, french also available)

Citizenship Counts: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ocasi.cic.quiz&hl=en

The latter is also on the web: http://citizenshipcounts.ca/

N.b. Citizenship Counts was funded by CIC -- so I hope it's pretty good with its quiz questions!

Thanks everyone. I think in the excitement, I have probably missed some of posts(sorry in advance). My test is on August 19th by the way.

May all of us have quicker test dates and even the oath. I have to go cook supper but I'll be back later though.

Perfect! Thanks... will check it out.

Yes, I travelled twice for a total of 66 days and I included the photocopies of my boarding passes with the application. Also I applied with 1097 days. They asked me to bring:
1. the notice
2. 2 pieces of ID, one of which has a photo and signature on it
3. all original documents that support my citizenship application (as listed in the document checklist in the citizenship application)
4. PR card
5. all passport s and travel documents (current and expired)

Wow that was quick! Congrats!!

That's fan-freakin'-tastic news SenoritaBella!!!! :D :D I'm stoked that they have processed your application so quickly, if we were only all so fortunate I'd have a dance party! hahahahaa. Hey just a quick question if you don't mind, how did they notify you of your test date and time? via mail/letter? Thank you oodles!

So... I don't have an original for T4 for 2010 - I think I used one for my taxes and the other for my PR application(CEC). I'm getting a copy from my employer though and will take the original notice of assessment with me(just in case). Will this be a problem?

If you're worried, bring a copy of your whole tax package from that year. The NOA doesn't include the same details as the T4, only totals.

Of course, we've already had this discussion -- I don't think you need to supply employment records.
