nothing... still cannot login.
called CIC yesterday, was told they couldn't find my citizenship app in my profile...
start to get worried...

ugggh... really? ummm... did they give you any plan of action or something that you can or should do to somehow follow up, did they say that this was out of the norm, any additional info? brutal... and no returned application either, eh?

was told to wait... they said May 29th's application pack was opened, they are processing it...

Don't stress too much Fanboy, I went back to the spreadsheet and I noticed that happened with some April apps as well where some were around 60 days from received to IP and on the same date some date received some were 80 days received to IP. Should be fairly soon now! *fingers crossed for all*

My AOR came in today, dated for June 27th.

I have a question. Once CIC sends an AOR, does that mean there were no errors found in the application, and it will eventually move into being processed? Or do they still return applications after an AOR has been issued?

AOR means your application is complete and cannot be returned.

No, will not return. AOR receive means the application is complete and being processed.

If it's like the PR process, however, they may issue a document request.

We received your application for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship) on May 28, 2014.

We started processing your application on July 9, 2014.


What I think is funny is the letter is dated for a month and half ago, June 27th. But the stamp on the envelope is date August 1st. I guess out going mail pickup is only once every 5-6 weeks

It is July 9th... I applied for proof though, not grant of citizenship.
