I tried to join several times and it keeps saying something like, the admins aren't currently accepting new members.

You don’t need to join. You could read the posts there without being a member because the group is public. Someone from May 2026 asked for updates some days ago and people from May mentioned still waiting for AOR. One submitted on the 5th of May.

Got a request to pay the fee difference on July 9, paid fees and uploaded the receipt about a week later. No AoR nor biometrics/ medical request yet...

Yeah, I'm really deflated. We've been trying to submit for almost 5 months now. If they hadn't returned it for the fees, we would have had AOR by now. I don't know, do we wait 3 months or 4 before trying to escalate it? For now, I think 2 months, they'll tell me nothing.

I feel like it's difficult to escalate because you don't have a file number yet.

Yeah, for now there's not much i can do. I'll keep waiting, unfortunately. Maybe the VO that was doing the completeness check on my file was on holidays or was let go and the file needs to be reassigned. Who knows what goes on in the VO backrooms lol.
