Hey everyone hoping to get some advice,
  1. APRIL 30TH 2020 - AOR FSW Started inland
  2. MAY 25 2020 Request for additional pay (the system was not updated so they wrote me a letter to ask me to pay the new fee and submit the receipt)
  3. JULY 15 2020 2nd request for additional pay ( apparently I got it wrong and needed to pay more)
  4. JULY 27 2020 Biometrics Letter
5. MED JULY 31 2020, ( I got the update July 27, and then it was re-updated to 31, strange but ok)
6. JULY 31 2020 ADR New passport details (the old one expired in June), and schedule A form.
7: SEPTEMBER 20TH 2020 CALL TO DO BIOMETRICS
8. OCTOBER 30TH 2020 BIOMETRICS COMPLETED

May 2021 had to come back home to Guinea - wasn’t able to work so went back home
  1. JUNE 14 2021 ADR PROOF OF FUNDS
  2. JUNE 22 2021 MEDICALS EXTENDED TO JUNE 22 2022
  3. MARCH 28 2022 PPR ( From VO Ankara, Turkey)
  4. APRIL 19 2022 PASSPORT DELIVERED TO DAKAR SENEGAL
  5. MAY 17 2022 CONFIRMATION ON CIC ACCOUNT
  6. MAY 17 2022 EMAIL FROM EMBASSY TO PICK UP PASSPORT
  7. MAY 19 2022 DHL PICK UP
  8. MAY 23 2022 DHL DELIVERY
  9. COPR EXPIRES JUNE 14 2022
Today I realize that my COPR document is VALID ONLY FROM MAY 12 2022 - JUNE 14 2022 AND MEDICALS ALSO EXPIRE JUNE 14 2022 ( despite being extended to June 22, 2021) @andy108 I desperately need some advice because the COPR and Visa were completed on the 12th and they never emailed me until the 17th ( after 5 emails I sent them that week) and with delivery, it still took 12 days away from the very little time that I have. I have legal contracts from my job and a lease that I can't just suddenly get out of and I have travel arrangements to England next month as well. It's also going to be at such a great expense having to accommodate moving my entire life back to Canada in 3 weeks. I am literally having a panic attack because I don’t know what I am going to do. I cannot imagine going through this whole process again.

Seems like your only option is soft landing. I am so sorry this happened!

what is a soft landing ?
I haven’t landed yet, but the idea is you go there to activate your PR then you essentially give a friend or a family member’s address to receive your PR card when they mail it, because u will need it to reenter Canada. Then you come back to your desired place in a day or two. However, I have heard that if you tell the officers at the airport or something that you plan to come back right away they might not activate your PR, so be careful. I suggest you check the details of it on different forums since many people have done it and they will give you better information. Best of luck!

I was asked to submit schedule A recently as well. But nothing about re medical. Thought I will hear from them in the next couple of days. But seems like they take time from one document to the next as well. This is so frustrating.. Hope they will expedite based on the time of AOR.
Any updates yet? I just got another request letter asking for Schedule A form. Again, no remedical request. So guess we are in the same boat. My visa office is Sydney. What about yours?

Hey, how you can locate a number to call IRCC? and do they connect to the specific agent who is looking into a specific file? I'm 3 days away from 2nd year anniversary of my AOR :)..
If you reside outside of Canada like me, you need to use some Apps such as wetalk to get a Canadian telephone # first, and then call IRCC from this local number.
And no, the agent answering your call is not your case processing officer, but from client support center. They could look into your file to get some specific information though.
Good luck with your case and hopefully you'll get some answers!

Hi there, I have seen an update in the IRCC website (dated 1 June 2022) that the provincial nominee applications now has a processing time of 21 months... I am FSW - Outland, with a nomination from Ontario.. I have an AOR dated 25 May 2020 - 24 months and continuing.. not a single update...

I happen to have a look at Dec 2020 AOR group... there is a lot of activity... people discussing on PPRs, re-med requests from Dec 2020...

I think, I am one of those who were left behind (might there be many others as well) :)

Any views?

@legalfalcon I happened to browse through the AOR groups of early 2021's (Jan, Feb, Mar 2021) and see that there is significant progress in the applications from the respective months. My application has an AOR of May 2020 (FSW with a provincial nomination from Ontario), and since of the bio-metrics in July 2020 - no movement whatsoever is evident in the IRCC portal. I have applied for GCMS notes towards Jan 2021 and noted that the medicals were extended - but now they too are expired with the completion of 2 years since of the AOR.

I have raised multiple webforms / emails over the past few months - and none were responded to. Is there a formal channel to raise such concerns with IRCC?

Even my BOWP is delayed for 10 months now.

Hey guys,
Can someone help me confirm what I thought happened to our CEC app?

Back in November 3, 2020, IRCC asked for new police certificates. It is the same date showing on my GCMS notes where R10 completeness check was set to in progress.

On February 15, 2022, my work permit expired. Coincidentally, it is the same date they updated my file from R10 to CEC.

Does that mean that IRCC really let our CEC application sit there in queue for 15 months?
And the processing time for our CEC application only just started last Feb 15, 2022?

@GayanK - 2 Years is a long time my friend. I request you to reach out to your local MP and see if he can help to expedite the process. It typically takes less than 1 Year tbh.

Got a re-medical request and completed that too.. it is now filed with IRCC and reflected in the portal..

Waiting... again! :)

Hi all,

I checked this morning the documents uploaded on my profile via the link "View submitted application or upload documents" just out of curiosity, and something is bugging me: my letter of explanation does not appear there anymore ! I am certain I uploaded it with my profile, but the Optional Documents doesn't show it there... It is pretty important for my application because that is where I explain, amongst other things, why I could not obtain one police certificate..
My AOR is from May 2nd, but I don't think I checked that before now, so I have no idea if it just disappeared now or if it was never there...
Anyone had this bug ? Should I upload the document again ? Through webform ?
Or they do have it and it just never appears on that page for some reason ?

Any help would be appreciated..
In 2022, I am facing the same issue as you.

I submitted my Permanent Residency application a couple hours ago. I uploaded a file in the Optional Documents section, but after paying the fee, I don't see the file in the Optional Documents section.

Did the document auto-appear in your profile? If anyone else has an answer to my query, please feel free to respond.

Thanks in advance!
