Oh.. and the agent also said it’s normal to wait 9months + post AOR.. meanwhile people are getting ppr 4months post AOR these days.
Are these agents really in touch with the visa offices?

That's great...I called on Nov 27th and they said a request has been sent to VO Sydney and again I called on Dec 11th and same was informed stating already a request has been sent to VO Sydney..and my eligibility and security in procees and on the same day I received an email from VO Sydney mentioning like "

Good day,
This email is in response to an inquiry via the Call Centre requesting the status of your application.
Application is awaiting the review of an officer.
Notification will be sent in due course.

So can I call now to IRCC to check whether my eligibility and security has been passed..Is it okay to call them again in span of 1 week or do I need to wait another few more days to get an update.Kindly advice

it doesn't matter...as long you don't call everyday lol ....once a week is reasonable after 6 months

Hello Everyone,
Our AOR is May 22,2019. we passed medicals, eligibility, criminality, and on Nov 22, we received an ADR for me (the spouse) requesting a schedule A, Updated travel history, and an updated CV. We uploaded the ADs 2 days after the ADR email and it's been 3 weeks since then. On our dashboard it says " we are reviewing the additional documents you provided", called ircc twice and we got a very general answer (all is passed and security is being processed). anyone with the same case? any help?

Hi, I'm on the same boat. AOR May 16th and received and ADR (updated proof of funds) on November 25th. I uploaded the document on the 30th and have yet to receive any further news.

Got ghost update today. Called CIC and got to know all is passed. Don't know yet when PPR will come and if Montreal is taking its own sweet time there as well, but at least some hope for the Montrealers. When I first called CIC one month ago and got to know VO is Montreal all my hope was completely gone...
