You have to mention all address where you lived in the last 10 years. It does not matter who paid your expenses. What matters is where your stayed and lived. IRCC will use this for the Background checks.

The more complete information you provide, the easier it is in processing your application.

Thank you.

Do I have to submit police clearance certificate from Canada? I am an inland applicant. Let me know please.

Thank you!

IRCC states:

  • Police certificates are required upfront and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has spent 6 months or more in a row within the last 10 years. The individual does not need to provide one for any period of time before the age of 18.
You can wither submit the RCMP PCC with your application, or you can wait until IRCC asks for it.

Hello.. I submitted my file on May 1..what to expect now??
Please help
After you submit your application your application goes under following steps
1. R10 - The documents which you submitted are reviewed.
2. Med - Your medical report will be checked
3. Criminality - This is based on your PCC
4. Eligibility - In this all your documents based on which you claimed your CRS will be checked, like Job ref letter, IELTS, ECA report etc
5. Security/Background check - This is the last step and in this step CBSA and CSIS are involved.

Great information, thank you! Do you know how long does the average candidate spends on each stage?

How many days after AOR shoud I expect to have an update on my application?
Thank you.
