Thanks hamoon for feeling that. Today whole day feeling upset, nothing could impressed me today. I have re-submitted the application though with missing information this morning. Don't know when will they open my application again.

I hope they open it right away. I know this whole thing has been very stressful on all of us. What keeps us motivated is that this is perhaps the last chapter on our immigration story (at least its paperwork part).

How is any of this stressful? This is a not PR application - no one is going to kick you out of the country if time runs out at this point. Just apply, sit back and relax.

Don't be like those other guys: they were praying to god to make their applications get processed faster.

Now I know, that there are many people who are under-educated and plain stupid but that was way too much. Ignorance and idiocy full on. Cheers.

AOR: Acknowledgement of Receipt, ECAS is online services of CIC to check application status after receiving AOR. it cane be accessed on

I was doing same since I knew estimated time but after waiting 2 months if the application returned it become stressful. Well what can we do !! Lets start wait game.
