The naseer to my question is found in the link

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/cit/admin/general/accept.asp

I opted no as the answer however guess just bad luck
Its really sad that you got your application returned but could you please elaborate which question are you referring to ? I mean the question number . Also are you assuming that this was the cause or did they leave any written note? I am asking you because when I got my application returned back in 2015, I found the written note from them explaining what was missing. So did they actually write that you forgot to mention NA?

Hello friends,

Unfortunately my application was returned as there was one box in which i had not written NA. Only one application is incomplete, rest are ok.

Please guide me how to resubmit the applicaiton, should i fill out new forms or make correction on existing and resend.

Thanks,
can you tell which box you din't fill ?

I think its not NA but he forgot to tick NO in section F , I am freaking out because though I did tick NO but didn't write NA in the country or date column because it says IF YES then list the countries .

oh no..when you have ticked no, there is no need to write N/A in other column..he must have done some other blunder which he is not able to tell

may be you are right he forgot to tick no...

and its common sense when you have said no then to fill the yes portion automatically gets eliminated....i don't think this can be reason for the application to be returned

yeah fingers crossed :) I also have done same like you,, ticked no and left other yes column blank because there is no need...

and if you go by this rule there are many other sections which should be left blank when ticked no rather than writing N/A

thats why may be he is not telling exactly which section , which coulmn,, he is going left, right :)

only he is confusing people ....
:) .To be honest I am now afraid of the implementation of law C-6 because there will be flood of applications that CIC will receive and that will delay the process from months to years. I really hope we all get through with our journey prior to this law without having our applications return.

I guess there is still some time before it gets implemented. even god forbid if some one's application gets returned we still have time to send it back but i hope no one's application gets returned..

add at least 3 months before it gets implemented.

The exact section is 6 F which requires me to prove if i have a permanent residence status or the equivalent in any country other than Canada.

Though i had ticked No but it seems that the 'N/A' was required.

I think that i do not have to fill in a new form as the old form contains a hand written number and dates stamped on each page. Even then i will call CIC in the morning and find out if i need to fill in the forms again.

I shall keep you posted of the reply from CIC.

Thanks for your guidance.

you did same in other applications,, they are not returned ? is that right ?

very strange not to tick n/a in a portion which is not required...there must be some jerk there who returned your application

N/A should be put where there is no, yes or no option but when some one has said no , there is no requirement to put N/A in yes section

i guess common sense prevails
