Anyone got SA, recently? How much time does it take to get SA. On website it shows 56 days, but that's not the case. So if someone got it recently, please update. Thanks.

I called CIC yesterday and they received my application May 2 and I got SA on July 18 don't be discouraged hopefully soon for you. When did they receive it ?

Still haven't received SA

BUT today July 23 Applicant's Application Status changed from Application Received to IN PROCESS

Anyone know if this means they've started working on Part 2 ?

I was able to link my husband, the applicant's file to his My Account on the new system
I read the thread on this website regarding linking and it was very helpful.

I used 2 for number of people on the application and that includes me, the sponsor and spouse no dependents

I haven't even received my overdue SA yet but my spouse's status on the ecas changed to In Process just today.
Now that I've also linked his application to the new system, it shows

Status: Open
Review of eligibility: In Progress
Review of medical results: Passed
Review of submitted documents: blank nothing written here
Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time
A background check is needed: Not Started
Final Decision: Not Started
