From the spreadsheet. only 3 people got AORs.

Some people get AOR out of turn (some get it early than the date mentioned on the CIC website and some get it very late, way over the processing date). Dont know what is the criteria for that. Frustrating :-[ :-[

are we supposed to get it by e-mail..? my husbands application, he made sure that they responded by e-mail for my sponsorship approval.

If your husband provided his email in the application than CIC will respond via email for AOR otherwise they will send the mail.

For Sponsor Approval they will send it in the mail also.

I think we should arrange the spreadsheet in terms of when applications were received by CIC as the applications are going to be processed in that order mostly

I've heard sometimes CIC responds by regular mail even when given an e-mail address. They're a bit unpredictable on their method of communications.

We are applying outland. Im the sponsor, my husband is the applicant. He's in ireland and i was with him but i came back last Monday. He provided my e-mail address on the sponsor form. If i get approved for sponsorship, will it be getting it through e-mail since that was the kind of contact info i provided?

Hi Everyone I'm not sure why I received my AOR so soon, it does not seem fair.. in the email that I received from CIC it said it was received on May 12, when I was told by Canada Post it was received May 13?? That may be why I was out of order on the spreadsheet. I hope everyone get the a response soon.

Nobody fully knows how CIC works. May be the agent who processed your file is faster than other agents Or your file was very well organized. It can be a bunch of reasons.

just becuase it says that on their site, doesn't mean they finished with alll aplications prior to May 8. CIC received some applications from this thread on May 1st/2nd and they didn't receive SA either.

This has me worried now! Ugh I wish we sent in the app earlier, like end of April or February when we originally planned . I hope they get to you soon!

I hope they work on all our files soon! I sent off the missing document yesterday via express post so they would get it today. Don't know how much of a delay I'm facing now but keep u guys posted.
